Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Huntington University to support kitchen and facility operations by keeping areas clean and organized. You’ll clean dishes, sanitize surfaces, and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks across food production and service spaces.

The role offers flexible workdays with full-time or part-time options. Pay ranges from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and reliable attendance during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specified chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies like soap and paper towels.
• Significant walking or other mobility; ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend and be on time for scheduled shifts; other duties as needed.
