Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster, PA is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills following the Streamline Brands curriculum in a positive, engaging way. You will provide constructive feedback and structure class time to reinforce key techniques while ensuring swimmer safety.

Prior instruction experience is welcome but training is available. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred, with support to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills according to Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.
