Kelly Education is hiring substitute teachers in Saraland City Schools. No prior teaching experience is required. This role offers the chance to mentor students and support their growth on a flexible schedule.

As a substitute, you’ll cover classes according to district plans, create a productive learning environment, and may develop lesson plans or assess student work for longer assignments. Training and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18 for elementary/middle school assignments; 25 for high school assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.
• Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students.
• For long-term assignments, develop lesson plans, build, administer, and grade tests and assignments.
