Job summary

Kelly Education is hiring substitute teachers for Henry County Schools. No prior experience is required, and substitutes act as mentors to help students learn and grow while following district lesson plans.

As a substitute, you’ll have the opportunity to select locations, build flexible schedules, and receive weekly pay along with orientation on policies. Ongoing professional development and healthcare options are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons
