Qualifications

• At least 36 college credit hours in any subject or complete Missouri DESE-approved training.
• Obtain a Missouri Substitute Certificate or Teaching License.
• Complete a fingerprint background check and successful Penmac training.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Encourage student participation and engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Adapt instruction to meet student needs.
• Supervise students in various school areas.
• Assist with classroom activities.
• Ensure student safety and support.
