Job summary

Cincinnati Classical Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support learning across grades on a flexible, as-needed basis. This part-time role reports to the Assistant Head of School by assignment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of the school's vision and philosophy.
Implements lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
Maintains a safe, orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manages classroom routines, procedures, and expectations.
Supervises students during transitions, lunch, and other duties.
Engages students in meaningful activities aligned to provided plans.
Communicates student progress and concerns to school staff.
Demonstrates flexibility across grades and subjects.
Maintains attendance and notes for returning teacher.
Upholds confidentiality and professionalism with students and families.
