Grand Blanc Academy is seeking Substitute Teachers for the upcoming school year with a great daily rate of $140. Requirements include 60+ college credits and/or a valid teaching certificate.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will help maintain a positive learning environment, follow lesson plans, and adapt to diverse subjects and grades. A passion for education and strong classroom management are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits; Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Experience with diverse learners is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be ready to teach various subjects and grade levels with versatile methods.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to deliver content and meet objectives.
• Implement classroom management strategies to address behavior promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with staff and administration regarding student needs.
• Maintain attendance records and note incidents or student behavior.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and classroom dynamics.
• Participate in professional development sessions if required.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
• Communicate with students, parents, and school staff as needed.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
