Job summary

Kelly Education is seeking substitute school nurses for Fountain Lake School District. RN or LPN professionals will provide health care services to students and support a safe, healthy learning environment.

Roles involve administering immunizations, first aid, and maintaining health records, with collaboration among school staff and parents. The position offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay through Kelly Education.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
Arkansas Division of Elementary & Secondary Education background clearance (out-of-pocket, non-refundable expense of $49.25).

Responsibilities

Provides health care services to students by performing the essential duties.
Participates in medical examinations and reviews findings to evaluate health status of pupils and progress of program.
Cooperates with school personnel in identifying and meeting social, emotional, and physical needs of school children.
Administers immunizations, provides first aid, and maintains health records of students.
Counsels students in good health habits.
Monitors dispensing of medications as per school policy and documentation.
Collaborates with school office staff, principal, and/or parents regarding students identified for exclusion due to medical reasons.
