Achieve Beyond in Brooklyn, NY seeks a dedicated Special Education ABA Instructor to support children with special needs across homes, clinics, and community settings. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collaborate with families, and document progress under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• One of the following NYS certifications/licenses:
• Students with Disabilities (Birth 2) Initial or Professional Certification
• Permanent Special Education Certification
• TSHH Permanent Certification
• TSLD Initial or Professional Certification
• NYS Licensed Master Social Worker
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children birth 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within established timelines.
