Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide in Jackson, MI (PRN, part-time) to support clients at home with personal care, meals, and daily living activities. You will travel between client visits, assist with errands, and document client conditions as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• HHA/PC A/Homemaker/CNA/MA or similar certification where required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned service area and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and household support.
• Assist with errands and transportation when appropriate.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition with documentation.
• Travel across service area to support clients and cover shifts as needed.
