Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide functional rehabilitation across home, school, work, and community settings in Temecula, CA.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and help patients navigate real-life activities such as cooking, shopping, dining out, and workplace tasks. This autonomous yet collaborative role offers an hourly wage and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with transfers as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, recipients and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
