Job summary

Paso Robles Inn in California seeks a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service at banquet events. You will set up banquet spaces, serve courses and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction with attention to detail and strong communication.

Flexibility to work holidays, nights, and weekends is required as events dictate. Responsibilities include opening and closing duties, maintaining stock and cleanliness, and safely handling alcohol in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet service or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening duties: check stock/equipment, set tables, prepare condiments and beverages, ensure supply of flatware and glassware, maintain cleanliness and organization of station.
• Serve food and beverage orders; retrieve and serve alcoholic beverages per California regulations.
• Open wine/champagne and prepare beverages per banquet standards; ensure timely service of courses and breaks.
• Set up/maintain/dismantle service areas; transport wares; dispose of trash; anticipate guest needs and provide courteous service.
• Communicate with staff and management; follow safety, liquor laws, and AAA Four Diamond standards; complete closing duties and report repairs or supplies as needed.
