Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Glendale, CA. You will patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents, ensuring safety and client protection across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• Must be able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
