Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Glendale, CA. Expect 30–40 hours per week with a mix of shifts chosen via our scheduling program. You\'ll patrol sites, respond to incidents, and ensure safety across various client environments.

Role emphasizes adaptability, reliability, and customer service. A valid driver\'s license, background check, and willingness to accept last-minute shifts are required to support client needs.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to accept last-minute shift scheduling.
• Travel required distances.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) age requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
