Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Access Oversight in Omaha, NE. You will support multiple sites with flexible scheduling, gaining exposure to healthcare, education, and commercial environments.

You will work 30–40 hours weekly, with shifts changing regularly via manager assignments and the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Expect irregular shifts with little advance notice to meet client needs and advance your career in security.

Qualifications

• Willing to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation available for travel to sites.
• Able to adjust to changing schedules and locations.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen administered where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent on record.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
