Job summary

Senior Helpers of Melbourne is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality home health and private-duty nursing, with flexible weekday hours and occasional Start of Care visits.

You will work closely with caregivers and families to develop and monitor individualized care plans in clients' homes. The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, strong assessment and communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Home Health, Hospice, Case Management, or Geriatric experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete Start of Care assessments for home health and private duty clients.
• Perform nursing assessments and supervisory visits.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and family members.
• Educate clients and families regarding disease management and safety.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight activities.
• Assist with new client admissions as needed.
