Job summary

BrightStar Care in Wisconsin seeks a registered nurse to provide in-home care under the state Nurse Practice Act, including initial evaluations and ongoing plan-of-care revisions. You will work under Director of Nursing guidance with a focus on safety and quality.

The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and professional growth opportunities within a supportive team. An RN license in Wisconsin and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Wisconsin (unencumbered).
• Minimum 1 year of documented experience preferred.
• Excellent nursing assessment skills and judgment.
• Able to read, write, and speak English; HIPAA compliant.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides care as defined within the scope of the state's Nurse Practice Act using sound judgment.
• Conducts initial evaluation visits and regularly reevaluates nursing needs.
• Initiates and revises the plan of care; keeps Nursing Director updated.
• Provides services requiring substantial nursing skill and rehabilitative procedures.
• Maintains clinical records, progress notes, and required documentation.
