Job summary

Visiting Angels of Rapid City is hiring a Patient Care Aide - PCA for our clients throughout the Southern Hills area, including Hill City, Keystone, Custer, and beyond. You will provide in-home care and companionship, helping seniors stay at home with dignity and comfort.

This role offers flexible shifts (Full Time, Part Time, Evenings, Nights, Weekends) and benefits like health insurance, mileage reimbursement, paid orientation and paid training, plus a referral program to support caregivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client care.
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage light housekeeping for client homes.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and meal preparation with clients.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or walks.
• Respond quickly to health changes and report them properly.
