Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician II to support park, restaurant and office buildings. The role involves planning repair schedules, repairing vehicles and equipment, and working with heavy machinery and a variety of tools.

You will read blueprints, follow safety protocols, and maintain documentation while performing carpentry, concrete and asphalt work across the parks. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials.
• Strong knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw, and jigsaw.
• Skilled at operating, maintaining, and repairing multiple types of tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans repair schedules for equipment and vehicles, inspects, tests and repairs.
• Operates heavy equipment such as backhoes, tractors, forklifts and lifts.
• Documents work daily and maintains maintenance records.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and proper equipment care.
• Works with wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall; uses carpentry tools and finishes.
