Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lawrenceville in Augusta, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, hourly position. Join a team led by RN oversight with a focus on in-home and facility-based care and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, documenting accurately, and performing nursing procedures within the state Nurse Practice Act. Candidates must hold an active LPN license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered LPN license in the state where care is provided.
• 1 year of nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment and plan of care with sound judgment.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per plan of care and nursing processes.
• Perform all required nursing skills and procedures per Nurse Practice Act and agency policies.
