Job summary

MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley is seeking a Laboratory Assistant Phlebotomist to obtain blood samples, transport specimens and process them according to protocol. You will collaborate with the team to ensure compassionate patient care and accurate handling of specimens.

This position is as-needed with rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) and requires MA-P certification or eligibility; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) or eligible
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to obtain blood samples and follow protocol

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures professionally at various sites
• Ensure timely blood draws and manage specimen accountability
• Label samples accurately following hospital policy
