Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and package food items while operating multiple stations such as grill and prep areas, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, complying with policies, and reporting issues to the MOD. This role requires regular attendance and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general restaurant/retail operations.
• Basic math and reading abilities required.

• Comfort with basic kitchen workflows and safety.
• Attention to cleanliness and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards.
• Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties – including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease – pursuant to operational standards.
• Regular attendance.
• Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD.
• Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
