Visiting Angels Puyallup and Federal Way is seeking part-time, nonexempt caregivers to support clients in their homes. You will follow care plans, provide companionship, meal prep, hygiene assistance, mobility support, and light housekeeping while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualified applicants may hold a WA CNA/HCA license (or in training within 14 days), possess a food handler permit, and have a clean driving record for client transport.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Prior homecare or care facility experience preferred, especially with dementia.
• Active CNA/HCA license or in training within 14 days of start.
• Active Food Handler’s permit.
• Required tuberculosis screenings/tests.
• Background and reference checks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for client transport.
• Drug test if requested.
• Competency in typical care tasks and situations, including hospice.
• Ability to communicate clearly with Office, Clients and families.

Responsabilités

• Follow Client Care Plan and perform assigned tasks.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Non-medical personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with feeding, toileting and mobility.
• Light housekeeping and laundry; make bed.
• Record services provided and report changes via mobile app.
• Monitor vitals and assist with medication reminders.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Attend to emergency situations professionally.

Formation

Active Washington State CNA or HCA license, or in training to obtain
