Companions & Homemakers, serving Connecticut with compassionate non-medical home care, seeks caregivers for flexible weekday/weekend/night shifts including live-in options.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, transportation, light housekeeping, meal prep, and providing companionship in a supportive, respectful environment. Must pass background checks; valid license and vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
