Job summary

GATE Petroleum is seeking a Food Service Associate (non-exempt) to provide friendly customer service, assist with food preparation, and operate the register. The role includes stocking, cleaning, maintaining safety standards and assisting with training new team members.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively in English to support guests and team members in a fast-paced store

Responsibilities

• Prepare made-to-order food items according to the set menu and recipes.
• Assist customers with questions about products, menu options and ingredients.
• Operate the register and process cash/credit payments following store policy.
• Stock and rotate inventory; maintain clean, organized shelves and coolers.
• Assist in training new team members on food prep, safety and customer service.
• Perform routine maintenance and safe operation of kitchen equipment.
