Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Tennessee is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, a stable schedule, and the opportunity to learn foundational home-care skills while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care experience.
• Criminal background check required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Perform routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation assistance.
• Transport client to appointments and errands as needed.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administration or measuring).
• Observe and report changes in the member’s condition.
