Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is hiring a Resident Aide to provide compassionate personal care in facilities like nursing homes and hospitals. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient support, including bathing, feeding, and daily activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, monitoring vitals, documenting changes, and notifying supervisors of care adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of CNA course/certification preferred.
• Experience in adult caregiving or healthcare settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
