Job summary

IHOP is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, seat them, and help with menu selections in a lively dining environment. You will take and deliver orders, handle payments, and ensure guest satisfaction with attentive service.

The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can multitask, stay punctual, and work weekends/holidays as needed, while contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a server is a plus.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, and escort them.
• Provide menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upsell additional products when appropriate.
• Take orders using software or order slips.
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Deliver checks and collect payments.
• Clean and maintain tables and tableware.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
