Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. You’ll patrol designated areas, respond to incidents, and use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability, gaining site experience across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more.

Pay is $20.00 an hour, paid weekly. Requirements include a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, background check, drug screen, valid driver’s license if driving, and at least 1 year of security experience;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rules and infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property; ensure authorized removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
