Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Pass background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if you drive a company or customer vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized individuals.
• Warn violators of site rules and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe and protect company property and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary under site orders.
