Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Branch Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver in Gardena, CA. You will work 30–40 hours weekly with a flexible self-scheduling program, covering diverse sites and shifts with little notice.

This is a hands-on role at a leading security services provider, offering growth opportunities. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required to support client needs.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation to assigned sites.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Able to travel the required distance.
• A valid driver's license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or forbidden articles.
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access as needed.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and prevent theft.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Maintain written logs as required by post.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site post orders.
