Job summary

Allied Universal® in Massachusetts is seeking a Security Officer to protect clients across commercial real estate, healthcare, education, government, and more. You will perform safety procedures, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols on client sites.

Starting pay is $24 per hour with full-time hours on weekdays and weekends. Paid orientation and training support career growth within a dynamic, community‑minded team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws; Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
