Job summary

Allied Universal, the world’s leading security company, seeks a Security Professional Flex Officer to cover multiple sites in Augusta, GA on a part-time basis. Starting base pay is $17.25 per hour with shifts that include weekends and weekdays.

You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view open shifts and gain hands-on experience across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year driving experience and clean record.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) depending on state.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor property access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
