Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to perform patrols, monitor for safety risks, and respond to incidents across healthcare, education, finance, and other sectors in Irvine, CA. This role uses a shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability, with potential irregular hours.

A high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience is required, along with a valid driver’s license and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed) and capable of adapting to different post assignments.
• Excellent oral and written communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and monitor systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
