GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a flexible Security Officer – Response in San Diego, CA. The role varies by day and event, including customer service, patrols, and surveillance to adapt with agility and precision.

Responsibilities include monitoring premises, controlling access, reporting incidents, and coordinating with authorities. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S., have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings (training can be obtained during hiring)
• Flexible availability: willing to work any day including weekends/holidays and any shift

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
