Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to patrol designated areas, monitor access, and respond to incidents in a variety of environments. You’ll use a shift-pickup platform to view openings and build a schedule that fits your availability, gaining site exposure across multiple industries.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and a valid driver’s license. 18+; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed, per state).
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and communicate clearly.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to interact cordially with the public.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
