Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Columbia, SC. This part-time role uses our shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability, providing hands-on experience across multiple industries.

Starting base pay is $17.10 per hour. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills are required. Weekly or instant pay options are now available, with state training provided for your security license and uniforms at no cost.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving record responsibilities.
• Be 18+ years old (21+ if state requires armed).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of Infraction rules; monitor entrances and exits.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicions; maintain logs.
