Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use a shift-picker platform to claim open shifts based on availability, gaining site experience and growth opportunities. Roles may require irregular shifts with little notice.

Payrate is $23.00 per hour and candidates may need a high school diploma or 1+ year of security experience. A valid driver’s license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required before employment.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) depending on state.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/console equipment and monitor systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that could cause security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire if needed.
• Warn violators of rules and prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances/exits and authorize entry for permitted personnel.
• Observe personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
