Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across multiple industries. You’ll claim shifts via our platform, gain site experience, and contribute to safety and customer service. The role supports flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience. You must pass a background check and drug screen where allowed, and have a valid driver’s license if driving company or client vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Effective oral and written communication; good public interaction.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when necessary.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entry/exit points.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
