Job summary

Allied Universal Southeast Austin is seeking a Security Flex Officer to serve clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. You will use our exclusive shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across industries.

The role may require irregular shifts with little advance notice. You will perform patrols, manage access, document incidents, and assist customers and staff, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or 5 years verifiable security experience
• Background check and drug screen required by law
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or client vehicle
• 18+ (21+ if armed) as per state requirements
• Background investigation in accordance with federal/state/local laws
• Be able to operate radio or console monitors
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed
• Warn violators of rules and infractions
• Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized access
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders
