Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a flex Security Officer in Utah to perform patrols by foot or vehicle, monitor entrances, and respond to emergencies with professional conduct. You will create detailed incident reports, assist clients, and ensure compliance with site post orders.

Valid driver’s license and eligible background check are required. Position requires open availability and the ability to adapt to varying shifts based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 (21 if armed) and able to operate radio/console.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client compliance.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
