Allied Universal is hiring a Flex Security Officer - Healthcare Foot Patrol in Mountain View. The Security Professional Flex Officer will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits you while gaining site experience across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check required by policy; prior criminal history considered per law.
• Drug screening may be required as a condition of employment.
• No prior security experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed, per state rules).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Effective written and oral communication; interact with the public.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor access points.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
