Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to patrol assigned sites, assess security risks, and respond to incidents across multiple industries using our shift-pickup platform. You will help ensure safety, monitor entrances and interact with clients and the public with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle
• Background check required; Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio or console equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor entrances and exits; verify authorized access
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department if needed
• Warn violators and enforce post orders
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft
• Investigate incidents and maintain incident logs
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders
