Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a short-term contract covering multiple Kansas City-area schools from August 24 to November 20. You will collaborate with school teams to support students’ growth and independence across several sites.

In this full-time role, you’ll deliver direct OT services to about 32 students, with around 800 minutes of weekly support, and help scheduling, documentation, and IEPs.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in Missouri.
• Experience in school-based settings or passion for working with children and adolescents.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload across multiple school sites.
• Ability to create and follow a flexible schedule with oversight at the start of the school year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 32 direct students, ensuring around 800 minutes of support per week.
• Serve students at Oakwood Manor Elementary, NKC High School, Gracemor Elementary, and Northgate Middle.
• Develop session schedules to effectively meet the needs of all students each week.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students individual education plans.
• Accurately document and track student progress and maintain necessary records.
