Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a fall contract across multiple area schools in Missouri. The position runs from August 24th to November 20th, delivering direct OT services to a diverse caseload and coordinating with OTs, teachers, and families to support IEP goals.

You will manage a flexible schedule across several campuses, maintain accurate records, and adapt interventions to maximize student success in daily routines.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in Missouri.
• Experience or interest in school settings and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt schedules for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services for ~32 students, ~800 minutes weekly across assigned schools.
• Develop and manage weekly schedule with initial guidance and oversight.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in alignment with school standards.
• Communicate with supervising OTs, teachers, and families to maximize student support.
• Adapt interventions and environments to meet IEP goals and daily routines.
