Job summary

Carl's Jr Unit 625 in Carson, California is looking for a Shift Leader to oversee restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. The ideal candidate will support the Management Team in maximizing sales and profits while ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

The Shift Leader will be responsible for providing quality guest experiences, supervising staff, and addressing guest issues promptly. Flexible scheduling is available for both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs comfortably.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and stoop.
• Comfortable working in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Vision abilities to include distance, close, color, depth, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to operate a computer and/or cash register.
• Must be able to work around heat and in close quarters with others.
• Willing to cross-train on various positions.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provides quality product and guest service.
• Establishes an environment of trust for communication.
• Plans, organizes and implements daily operations.
• Supervises and performs closing/opening duties.
• Supports Management goals and directives.
• Follows POS comp procedures and cash handling.
• Resolves guest questions and complaints.
• Delegates shift responsibilities to employees.
