Medic seeks a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Occupational Health Clinic in California. The NP will perform physical exams, conduct occupational health and pre-employment evaluations, review histories, order tests, and develop treatment plans in a collaborative environment.

The position requires CA NP authorization, CA RN license, and a graduate NP degree with state certification. Both full-time and part-time options are available with flexible scheduling and a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Current, active NP authorization in California.
• Current Registered Nurse license in California.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP program.
• National certification appropriate to NP specialty.
• Experience in primary care, occupational health, urgent care, or family medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• BLS certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical evaluations.
• Conduct pre-employment and occupational health examinations.
• Obtain patient medical histories and assess health conditions.
• Order and review laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Perform or oversee EKG testing as appropriate.
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications when authorized.
• Review examination findings and document results accurately.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow federal and California healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
