Qualifications

Be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, gross margins, percentages, ratios, and apply basic algebra to transactions.
Be able to accurately complete required reports including daily sales, inventory counts, receiving logs, and cash reconciliation forms.
Ability to read, write and understand English to read instructions, policies and postings.
High school or equivalent education preferred with successful completion of a program or experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
Adhere to health, safety, and civil code regulations.
Manage cash drawer contents at start/end of shift and handle cash/credit transactions.
Ring sales into the register and provide accurate change.
Assist customers with bulk products and product knowledge.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and store spaces.
Maintain security by monitoring for irregularities and safeguarding assets.
