Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex Lost-time claims for clients across CT, MA, NJ, and VT with a capped caseload. You’ll analyze evidence, determine benefits, and ensure service expectations are met within client guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Licensing: VT & CT

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and resolve timely.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally.
