Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver for part-time shifts in Accomac, VA. You will drive a shuttle bus, greet passengers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure a safe, compliant operation while coordinating with dispatch and handling routine vehicle inspections.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving, the ability to operate a passenger van safely, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
• You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
